Non-language led approaches to dance and drama

Wednesday 19 October, 5-8pm at Theatre Peckham

In this session participants will experience two contrasting creative approaches that focus on non-language led structures. The session will be led by artists from Corali Dance Company and Oval House Theatre.

Corali Dance Company makes work in collaboration with performers, dancers and artists that have learning disabilities and those that do not. The education and outreach work includes training in dance and drama for people with learning disabilities, choreographic mentoring and bespoke training, seminars, and talks/workshops in further educational institutions.

Oval House Theatre creates projects with and for young people in London. There is a particular emphasis in the work on challenging barriers to inclusion and the company have become sector leaders in working with newly arrived refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.
