    This week, the Cultural Learning Alliance published its official response to the Henley Review of Cultural Education. In it, STEP is identified as an example of 'effective local delivery' under Recommendation 7: New Local Partnerships. STEP is delighted to be recognised by the CLA for the work we do in Southwark. The CLA's response to the Henley Review can be downloaded below.

    The STEP Board are delighted to announce that our current Communications Officer, Cheryl Gallacher, will be taking up the role of Programme and Partnership Director from 23 April onwards. Cheryl, alongside the Development Director (to be appointed in the next couple of months) will steer the organisation forward following the departure of the current Creative Director, Beccy Allen, on Friday 27 April.

     After four and a half years as STEP Creative Director, Beccy Allen is moving on to pastures new. I have had the most incredible experience at STEP which has been shaped by the relationships with theatre companies, schools and individuals along the way.  I am sad to go but very excited by the new challenges that lie ahead. I am in post at STEP until 27 April and will be on hand to answer any questions, concerns and future ideas that you have before then.
